The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the city of Delhi hosted a roundtable discussion on “Development Strategy of Uzbekistan. Rapid reforms”.
The event was held jointly with the Development Strategy Center, India – Uzbekistan Friendship Society, the University of Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University and India – Central Asia Research Foundation.
It was attended by representatives of analytical and academic circles, the business community and the mass media of India, as well as Uzbekistan’s students studying in Indian universities. In addition, the Director of the Development Strategy Center Akmal Burkhanov, as well as representatives of relevant agencies of Uzbekistan joined the meeting online.
Indian experts noted that the Action Strategy adopted in Uzbekistan is a comprehensive program designed to ensure the sustainable and intensive development of the country.
At the event, a presentation of “Uzbekistan: Development Strategy 2017-2021. Rapid reforms” book in Hindi was held. It is prepared by the professor of Uzbek language department of the University of Jamia Millia Islamia Dr. Shahid Tasleem based on the publication “2017 – the Year of Rapid Reforms”.
