The week started with the screening of Khilol Nasimov’s “Vatan Ostonasi” film and a creative meeting with a film crew.
The screenings of such films as “Who are you?”, “Endurance School”, “The Taste of the Sun”, “Spring of Love”, “Flight 101”, as well as short feature films shot by young filmmakers within the framework of the Debut 2020 and Debut Start 2021 projects will be held during the week.
It is also planned to present creative works for the international competition “Cinema in five days”, which will be held as part of the XIV Tashkent International Film Festival, presentations of the activities and tasks of the Uzbekmultfilm Studio, an Open Day at the branch of All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography in Tashkent.
Among the key events of the week are the signing of cooperation agreements between the Cinematography Agency and higher education institutions to attract students to film projects in 2022, the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the winners of the project for professional young cinematographers.
Youth and Cinema Week will last until July 3, 2022. It is organized by Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency, SUE Yoshlik Film Studio, National Center for Cinematography Development, VGIK branch in Tashkent.
