The President of Uzbekistan becomes a holder of the Honorary Badge of the Heads of State of Central Asia

As part of the regular Consultative Meeting, a solemn ceremony was held to present the Honorary Badge of the Heads of State of Central Asia to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for outstanding achievements in promoting friendship, good neighborliness, and mutual understanding between the states of the region.

Expressing gratitude to the leaders of the Central Asian countries, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized that this highest award is a recognition of common achievements in strengthening regional cooperation and strategic partnership of our countries.

“Thanks to political will and joint efforts, today Central Asia is becoming a space of good neighborliness, mutually beneficial cooperation, and sustainable development”, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized in his speech.

As a result of coordinated work, the volume of trade and investment has increased several times, large-scale cooperation projects are being implemented, and border trade zones, value chains, modern transport, and energy infrastructure are being created.

The sense of community and regional identity is becoming increasingly established. What is most important is that citizens of the region’s countries feel all these positive changes in their daily lives.

It was noted that due to strengthening the region’s international subjectivity and high attractiveness, it is becoming a center of economic activity and a transport and communication bridge connecting the East and West, North and South.

The President of Uzbekistan emphasized that the systematic implementation of important initiatives and decisions has made the process of rapprochement among the countries of the region sustainable, consistent, and irreversible.

In conclusion, once again thanking his colleagues for the high award, Shavkat Mirziyoyev assured that turning Central Asia into a peaceful and prosperous region will always be a priority goal of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy.
