The event was conducted in the conference hall of the Namangan construction engineering institute by the Defence Ministry of Uzbekistan, the hokimiyats (governorates) of Namangan and Khorazm regions and the regional councils of the Uzbekistan youth union.

During this video dialogue, soldiers performing their manly duty in Namangan and Khorazm regions held conversations with their parents and close friends through modern information communication technologies and congratulated each other on the forthcoming Motherland Defenders Day.

“For young men, defending the Motherland’s peace is the most honourable duty. I am very happy to be a defender of the Motherland. I say `thank you’ to those who arranged this video dialogue,” says Anvarjon Nabijonov doing fixed-term military service in Khorazm region.

“Father, you taught strict discipline to me. It is very helpful in military service. Here I experienced such feelings as patriotism and loyalty more deeply,” says Umidjon Sharipov who was called up from Hazorasp district of Khorazm region and who is doing military service in Namangan region.
