Silk Road International Tourism University, established by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 28, 2018 in Samarkand, will begin to teach students from 2018/2019 academic year.
As provided in this resolution,125 young people will be admitted to undergraduate courses of the university in the areas of tourism, design in the field of tourism, marketing in the field of tourism, services technology in the field of tourism and their organization, logistics in tourism, professional education, hotel business, catering business, event management.
Entrants’ admission to undergraduate courses of the university will be carried out on the basis of test examinations. Foreign citizens will be admitted to undergraduate courses on a paid contract basis outside the established quotas of admission through an interview.
Unlike other universities for personnel training in the field of tourism, first block in this university includes foreign language test examinations in all educational areas.
According to the admission commission, entrants from all regions handed over documents for admission to the university.
Taking into account coordination of work on organization of university’s activities, educational process of 2018/2019 academic year will begin on October 1, 2018.
