In Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hanover, representatives of the German tourism industry have been familiarized with the potential of Uzbekistan in the given sector.
The presentation took place in the framework of a trip by a group of our tour operators to the Federal Republic. The purpose of the visit was the establishment of direct contacts with colleagues.
The German experts were impressed by the modern tourism industry in Uzbekistan, especially in the cultural and enlightenment as well as environmental realms. “Today, Uzbekistan occupies a leading position in Central Asia on popular eco-tourism destinations,” said independent media consultant Axel Porsche. “I would like to emphasize that, while located along the caravan routes of the Silk Road, your country has retained many unique masterpieces of oriental architecture. They constitute invaluable heritage of human civilization, and therefore I think it is necessary to visit this hospitable country, enjoy the splendor of ancient architecture and establish new business contacts.”
