PROCEDURE of accreditation of domestic and foreign journalists to the cover the electoral campaign for the elections to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan accredits domestic and foreign journalists to cover the electoral campaign for the elections to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In order to obtain the accreditation, the journalists are required to submit to the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan until October 10, 2014 the following documents:

− request for accreditation of a journalist printed on an original letterhead of the Mass Media organization addressed to the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

− two photos (3,5×4,5 cm) of the journalist to be accredited;

− copy of the certificate of state registration of the media organization, for the electronic media – a copy of the license for broadcasting, for foreign journalist – a copy of the accreditation document issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Applications without necessary information or photo of the journalist will not be accepted.
