On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the heads of the two states exchanged congratulatory messages.
In the message of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev it is noted that in a short historical period the cooperation between the two countries achieved significant results.
“At present, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, demonstrating an exemplary model of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, are forming a solid foundation, which guarantees the further development of the whole region of Central Asia, – is emphasized in the message. Your visit to the city of Astana and my visit to the city of Tashkent this year made a great contribution to deepening cooperation between our countries. Their results, significantly broadening the horizons of our relations, have determined new priorities in our agenda”.
Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed his firm conviction that “a fruitful strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will continue to develop dynamically for the benefit of our people, living in friendship and harmony for centuries”.
In the message of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on the occasion of the significant date – the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations, it is noted that “this truly historic event laid a solid foundation for strengthening friendship and good-neighborliness, dynamic development of mutually beneficial and multifaceted cooperation between our countries on the basis of provisions of the treaties on Eternal friendship and Strategic partnership”.
“The fruitful meetings and high-level negotiations that were held this year made it possible to bring Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan relations to a completely new qualitative level, filling them with concrete practical content, – is noted in the document. – The achieved level of successful and productive cooperation fully meets the interests of fraternal people of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, contributes to ensuring stability and progress in the entire region of Central Asia”.
The President of Uzbekistan emphasized the firm intention “and further actively expand and deepen comprehensive interaction, including within the framework of international and regional organizations. This will undoubtedly contribute to the consistent strengthening of friendship, good-neighborliness and partnership between our countries and people”.
