A number of agreements were reached during the negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of China Xi Jinping, within the framework of the international forum One Belt, One Road, held on May 14-15, 2017 in Beijing. According to them, an auto caravan, which left the Xintai city of the Chinese province of Hebei arrived in Navoi free economic zone.
Last year, a foreign company “Zyong Tyang” received a certificate of registration in the free economic zone, organized by the investment of the Chinese company “Hebei New Silk Road Import and Export Trade”. These days the commissioning of the enterprise began. The company plans to produce 200 thousand plywood a year, more than 70 new jobs will be created.
As noted by the leadership of “Zyong Tyang”, it is planned to launch a line for production of plywood. Raw materials will be supplied from Kyzyltepa district for production. Stalks of cotton will be widely used. Special ingredients will be supplied by JSC Navoiazot. This will significantly reduce the cost of production and imports.
In addition, the company plans to produce MDF and glass products.
