In the building of the Central Office of JSC “Uzbek Commodity Exchange” it was held “open day” for representatives of industrial enterprises, including small business and private entrepreneurship, operating in the segment of cable and electrical products. In the event, organized jointly with JSC “Uzeltehsanoat” it was also took place advising for the bidders on government and corporate procurement, as well as the introduction of potential suppliers with the capabilities and advantages of these trading platforms.
The meeting was attended by representatives of JV “Deutsche Kabel AG Tashkent”, JV «HI-TECH KABEL», JV «Uzkabel» and JSC «FOTON», which are the main producers of cable and electrical products.
During the event, participants were introduced to the procedure of accreditation of suppliers, as well as to the mechanism of the trading system, through which conducts electronic trading. In addition, the slides showed the information about the benefits and potential trading segment of cable and electrical products in the electronic system of corporate procurement.
It should be noted that this year the total amount of sales of products included in this segment exceeded 35.0 billion soums and every month consistently continues to increase. At the same time, in electronic trading is comparatively low participation of suppliers servicing individual requests of customers. In this regard, the representatives of the industrial enterprises of cable and electrical products were demonstrated categories of goods for which there is great demand.
At the end of the seminar attendees exchanged views on simplifying the process of accreditation of potential suppliers and increasing the responsibility, both applicants and suppliers, which also actively participated and representatives of the Training Center of the Ministry of Finance, the State Unitary Enterprise “Center for Management of State Assets” under State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Privatization, Demonopolization and Development of Competition and Chamber of Commerce.
