Address by President Islam Karimov at the celebrations, dedicated to the 24th anniversary of the state independence of Uzbekistan, has caused widespread interest among Kazakhstani expert-analytical community.

Thus, Director of the Institute of Regional Development V.Tuleshov draws attention to the fact that Head of Uzbekistan once again proved the sequence of the foreign policy of the republic. “Unacceptability of participation in military-political blocs, placing of foreign military bases on Uzbekistan’s territory, stay of troops outside the country has been underlined. The priorities of expansion of relations of friendship, good neighborliness and constructive cooperation with the neighboring countries and all the countries in the further strengthening of peace, stability and sustainable development in the region for the benefit of the peoples of Central Asia, have been outlined”, – expert said.

Bet on the economy and foreign policy coherence, according V.Tuleshov, will allow the country to reach new heights and continue to raise the level and quality of life of the Uzbek people.

According to Professor of Kazakh-Turkish University B.Bayimbetov, Islam Karimov’s speech deserves special attention in a growing crisis of confidence in international relations.

– President of Uzbekistan has been rightly pointed out that different confrontation and clashes are becoming more and more aggravated, armed conflict are intensified, tension of already difficult situation is being worsened, and it is becoming more threatening.

The expert notes that, declaring the unacceptability of the country’s participation in the military-political blocs, the head of state made it clear that Uzbekistan intends to build its future solely relying on its own strength and resources to strengthen equal and mutually beneficial relations with all countries of the world, who share the objectives peaceful development and coexistence.

– President’s foreign policy shows that Uzbekistan has taken place as a strong and self-sufficient state, – the professor concludes.
