A meeting of the Central Election Commission took place.
Participants discussed issues related to thorough preparations for the referendum on reforming the Constitution of the country, which will be held this year at the suggestion of the Head of the state.
It was noted that the provisions on constituencies and district commissions for holding a referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan, districts and district commissions were developed based on the requirements of the Law “On the referendum of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
At the meeting, a draft concept was discussed on organizing advanced training for members of referendum commissions.
In accordance with it, the Training Center for Electoral Legislation and Modern Technologies of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission will be staffed with highly qualified experts.
Curricula and teaching materials for workshops aimed at improving practical skills will be developed in Uzbek, Karakalpak and Russian languages.
