Inha University in Tashkent conducted a ten-day programming course CodeCraft for the children at the age from 10 to 13, official website of the universiy reports.
The course consisted of ten lessons, adapted for children age. The course was based on visual programming language – Scratch.
Farkhad Musaev, one of initiators and head of the project, said that the main goal of the visual programming course is to each child to creative work and open their creative potential.
He said that undergoing training the child became active creator of simple software, games and cartoons from passive consumer.
Musaev noted that teachers and volunteers Olimjon Bakirov, Darhanbek Mamataliev, Nematjon Narziyev, Yevgeniy and Ilkham Rakimovs were also engaged in the project.
Some 17 children presented their works at the end of the course. The jury rated the work and the winners were awarded.
Djamal Turdaliev won the first place, while Rustam Adilov was the second. Shahboz Juraev and Jahongir Ayupov shared the third place.
