Proceedings of the International Conference “The role of women in civil society, the state and public administration: experience of Uzbekistan”, which has been held on September 8-9, 2015, in Samarkand, excited great interest among the representatives of France.
Correspondent of Jahon Information Agency in Paris interviewed Secretary General of the Association of the study of history and art of Temurids, Frederick Bressan on this subject.
– By the nature of its scientific and cultural activity I have often been in Uzbekistan and I have many colleagues and friends there. I want to note that women in your country play a critical role in building a strong civil society, participate actively in the political life of the state.
Their constructive role in such areas of modern life as health and education, science and culture – is especially great. As an art photographer I have been always impressed by the beauty of Uzbek women.
I strongly support the idea of international spread of experience of Uzbekistan in the field of implementation of public policies on enhancement of the role of women in society. I am confident that this study will be useful for the practice of many countries.
