UzLiDeP council in Samarkand region in cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organizations are organizing spiritual, educational and sports events under the slogan “We are for prosperous life!”, aimed at implementing the tasks identified in the State Program «The Year of attention and care for elder people» in all districts and cities of the region.
One of these events in the form of the festival held in Urgut district with participation of party activists, entrepreneurs, farmers, youth, residents of mahalla and the people of respectable age.
Within the festival a number of activities were held such as a training seminar on the topic “Laws and regulations in the field of business: understanding and application” to improve the business skills of entrepreneurs and small business entities, free medical examinations for the elderly, members of low-income families and women in the framework of the project “Healthy Family is a strong family” as well as competitions on football, chess, checkers and sport activity that became continuation of the ongoing work to promote healthy lifestyles among young people and protect them from harmful and threatening the health habits.
At the end of the festival the concert under the motto “Leave free and prosperous homeland for future generations!” was held.
These party activities educate the young generation in the spirit of love to the motherland and devotion to the ideas of independence, respect for national and universal values. The festival once again has shown that in our country there is harmoniously developed generation, capable to become a worthy successor of our great ancestors.
