Defence Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defence of Uzbekistan invites for cooperation

The Agency serves as single body of the State Administration for the implementation of state policy in the field of regulation of the activities of defense industry enterprises and their development.

Fulfills licensing process of activities in the field of development, production, repair and sale of military and dual-purpose products.

Mission of the Agency:

• regulation and development of activities of defense enterprises;
• organization of production of new types of military products and dual purpose;
• organizing the supply of the national army with military and dual-purpose products manufactured at defense industry enterprises;
• expanding and developing military-technical cooperation, attracting investments in the sphere, as well as organizing the export of products;
• organizing and conducting research and development work aimed at mastering the production of military and dual-purpose products.

The structure of the Agency includes five enterprises (“Vostok”, “CHARZ”, “CIT”, “Remtex”, “Barer”), in addition, more than 20 enterprises of economic sectors (“Uzelektroapparat-electroshield”, “Krantas”, “AKSUM”, “Vinlad”, “JNS Labs”, “Uzwoolentex”, AGMK, NGMC, “Uzmetkombinat” and others), engaged in the development, production of military and dual-purpose products, the provision of repair services and modernization of weapons and military equipment.

These enterprises produce more than 300 types of products and provide more than 70 types of services, employing about 2,000 people (from workers to designers and programmers).

• innovative and sustainable development of defense enterprises;
• ensuring the technological independence of the defense industry;
• gradual diversification of defense industry enterprises.
