On May 15-19 this year, it is planned to hold the days of Chelyabinsk region in Uzbekistan.
On May 15, a delegation led by Governor of Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation B.Dubrovsky arrived in Samarkand to attend the event.
Guests visited the Hazrati Khizr complex, laid flowers to the grave and honored the memory of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. They got acquainted with the observatory of Mirzo Ulugbek and the mausoleum of Khoja Daniyar.
At the meeting, issues of establishing partnership between Samarkand and Chelyabinsk regions in metallurgy and machine building, agriculture and construction materials industry were discussed.
Guests from Russia during their visit to Samarkand also got acquainted with activities of large industrial enterprises of the city.
