The SKM-muzey computer database will contain all information from the State Catalog of the National Museum Fund of Uzbekistan. Currently, museums actively continue to enter all the necessary information in it.
The work is carried out under the aegis of the Certification and Computerization Center under the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan.
When creating SKM-muzey, which is a single electronic base of the national museum fund, the programs for automated systems introduced in a number of developed countries were studied in detail. Attention was paid to the inclusion in it of information about objects stored in all museums in Uzbekistan, data on their funds and collections. The program contributes not only to the simplification of accounting for museum exhibits, but also to the use of its data in the formation of new exhibitions, expositions, and conduct of scientific research.
Information about each of them contains its photo, scientific characteristics and other important data.
