On October 17, 2022, the high-speed “Afrosiyob” high-speed train No. 764/763 on the Tashkent – Samarkand – Tashkent route stopped for the first time at the Dashtabad station in the Zomin district of the Jizzakh region.
Deputy governor of the region S. Rahmonkulov, deputy governor of the district S. Anvarov, the prosecutor of the Zomin district, the head of the Internal Affairs Department, community activists and young people took part in the symbolic welcoming ceremony of the train that brought the group of local residents.
Local tourists were welcomed by Dashtabad cultural center and a team of young people with festive tunes and songs.
After that, tourists were taken on a trip around the district in a special vehicle.
