The capital of Uzbekistan was included to the ranking of CIS cities, which are popular among the Russian tourists, published by hotels search service RoomGuru.
In the ranking of RoomGuru, Tashkent claimed the seventh place on popular CIS cities among the Russian tourists.
The ranking was based on search and hotel booking data from 1 January to 31 July 2016.
RoomGuru said that tourists from Russian arrive in Tashkent in average for 2.5 days and pay 2,400 rubles for one day of accommodation in hotel.
Top 10 popular cities also include Minsk (2,500 rubles), Almaty (2,700 rubles). Baku (2,800 rubles), Yerevan (2,600 rubles), Kiev (2,700 rubles), Vitebsk (2,200 rubles) and Kishinev (2,300 rubles).
