The exhibition “Colourful colours of spring in works of applied art”, dedicated to the spring holiday Navruz is underway these days in the Museum of applied arts of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition features more than 80 items, made of wood and decorated with carvings, paintings and jewelry.

The exhibition presents works of the famous master of wood painting Hasan Marzahmedov. His work – boxes, chairs “Kursi” and tables “Khan-Takhta”, draw the attention with various ornaments and exquisite paintings.

In addition, the exhibition also presents works of the famous jeweler Kamoliddin Abdullayev. When creating products, the master prefers silver gilt and precious stones. Most of his works are decorated with images of pomegranates symbolizing fertility, while patterns resemble the patterns on the satin.

The jewelry art at the exhibition is also represented by the items from the Museum of applied art of Uzbekistan.
