Tashkent paint plant will implement an investment project on diversification of production. The plant plans to create ecologic clean, modern technologic park for reproduction of enamel and lacquer. The project will be implemented in partnership with investors from Poland.
In 2016-2020, the investors will create production complex via construction and reconstruction of premises of the plant. It is planned to replace old equipment and create compact energy-efficient plant on production of competitive and quality products.
Engineers and other skilled professionals will be attracted for the creation of the park, who will take into account during the construction of the complex, modern quality standards and the latest scientific achievements in the industry.
The capacities of the plant have been created in the middle of the XX century. The equipment is out of date and in this connection, the plant is energy-intensive, low-profit and produce uncompetitive goods in the market.
It is worth noting that the new complex will have a logistics center with a fleet of vehicles. It is planned to implement other projects here on production of import-replacing construction materials and consumer goods. These products will be sold on the domestic market and exported abroad. It will create about 1,500 new jobs and develop production of new types of import-substituting and export-oriented goods.
Tashkent paint plant was established in 1945 and is a manufacturer of such paint products as pigments, solvents, varnishes, enamel, paint and varnish.
The volume of production in 2014 amounted to 2 393.84 tonnes or 11,986,216,000 soums. In the past period of 2015, the plant produced 681 tonnes of finished products worth 3.002 billion soums. The plant currently employs about 350 people.
