Uzbekistan will introduce a single inter-departmental integrated information system of pension provision in 2015-2017.
The Cabinet of Ministers issued a resolution “On measures on introduction of a single inter-departmental integrated information system of pension provision in 2015-2017”.
According to the resolution, off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan introduced an automated information system – programme complex “Pension”, which includes data for over 2.7 million pensioners and 237,00 citizens, who receive pensions and social allowances.
The programme complex ensures automatization of process on assigning, calculation, re-calculation and payment of pensions and social allowances.
The Government agreed with proposal of the Ministry of Finance of the single inter-departmental integrated information system of pension provision via improving and expanding functions of the programme complex Pension.
The system will envisage the most convenient way for elder people an assignment of pension and social allowances, which will eliminate obtaining of paper certificates and evidances, as well as ensure timely payment of pensions and allowances.
The Government approved schedule of introduction of information system in 2015-2017 and entrusted ministries and departments to ensure full and timely execution of the schedule.
Off-budget Pension Fund under the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan was entrusted organize a tender to purchase server equipment for the single information system in 2018, once introduction of the system ends.
