The dictionary, published in Publishing and printing creative house «O’qituvchi», won first place in the Republican contest “Best Book of the Year” in the category “Research and encyclopedic work” and was awarded a diploma, according to Information Agency Uzbekistan Today.
“English-Uzbek and Uzbek-English Dictionary” includes 80,000 words and expressions. The publication is intended for researchers, translators, editors, teachers, students, schools, academic lyceums and professional colleges, university students, doctoral students and students who are interested in the English language, as well as for a wide range of readers.
Currently, the book is reprinted 3,000 copies at the request of readers.
