Uzbekistan’s innovative development presented in Geneva

Uzbekistan took part in the 15th session of the Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness and Public-Private Partnerships.

At the event, Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan Shakhlo Turdikulova presented extensive information on the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in science and innovation, the results achieved and measures that need to be implemented in the future.

The National Review of Uzbekistan “Innovations for Sustainable Development”, prepared by the UNECE in cooperation with the Ministry of Innovative Development of Uzbekistan, was presented.

Mr. Jakob Fexer, Economic Affairs Officer at the UNECE Innovative Policies Development Section, emphasized that in recent years Uzbekistan has been implementing a wide range of measures to support innovative development, which are in line with global best practices.
