Practical Dialogues Help Young People to Gain Skills

The Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Melioration in cooperation with the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Council of Farmers of Uzbekistan has held a practical dialogue on the theme ‘Preparing highly qualified specialists for agriculture – a guarantor of development of agriculture and farmers’ movement in the country.’

Opening the meeting the chairman of the UzLiDeP Executive Committee of the Political Council Sodiqjon Turdiev noted that during the recent visit of the President to Qashqadaryo region he stressed that the present day farmers must know not only the secrets of agriculture, but also go with the times, be active in improving rural livelihoods, increasing spirituality of the locals, especially in the caring and attention of the younger generation.

“Today’s event will undoubtedly serve as an important school of experience and skills for future specialists,” said Sodiqjon Turdiev.

Such practical dialogues have been conducted in 154 colleges of the country, specializing in agriculture.

Participants stressed that similar meetings serve to increase the interest of young people in farming and entrepreneurship and further stimulate their endeavors in this direction, the sequence of formation of their qualifications on their own businesses.

A similar event was also held in the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
