Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on appointment of the members of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with Article 77 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Article 75 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek leader appointed the following members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
Ayupov Shavkat Abdullaevich – Director of the V. I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Basithanova Elmira Irkinovna – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan
Rafikov Kudratulla Mirsagatovich – Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan
Rakhmankulov Mir-Akbar Khoji-Akbarovich – First Deputy Director of the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Saidov Sirojiddin Salokhovich – Chairman of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan
Sayfullaev Bakhtiyor – Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Rector of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan
Sanakulov Kuvandik – General Director of the State Enterprise Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant
