On August 22-27, Tashkent, Termez, Bukhara and Samarkand will host Cultural Heritage Week “Uzbekistan – crossroads of civilizations and roads: empires, religion, culture”.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Abdukhakimov, head of “Cultural heritage of Uzbekistan in the world collections” project F. Abdukholikov and other responsible specialists provided information about the action plan.
On August 22, Uzbekistan Fine Arts Gallery will host a presentation of unique exhibits of Kushan Empire, which arose in the middle of the first century in Central Asia.
A documentary will also be shot within the framework of the event. The organization of press tours in this direction is important to provide extensive information to tourists.
On August 24, participants and guests of the week will visit Termez. Famous world orientalists’ reports will be heard within the framework of the archaeological conference “Uzbekistan at the crossroads of civilizations”.
