On October 18, a group of professors and teachers of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov led by the university’s rector, academician Viktor Sadovnichiy visited the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
During the negotiations, the rector of the NUUz Avaz Marakhimov and the rector of Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy noted that long-term relations have been established between the two universities, the practice of exchanging experience benefits the two parties, graduates of these universities have become well-known scientists in various fields and development of relations will yield positive results.
After bilateral negotiations, the grand opening ceremony of Lomonosov – Mirzo Ulugbek Scientific Educational center took place at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
This center will serve to implementation of many projects. Now the center will carry out joint programs of NUUz and MSU in various areas of education, graduates of which to be issued joint diplomas. The two universities will also exchange teachers and students.
