On April 24-26, 2018 will be hold an International conference on the theme «Strategy of action and strong social policy: International practice and experience of Uzbekistan» in Tashkent.
The conference, organizing by the initiative of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, expects the participation of responsible representatives and experts from more than 50 countries, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan, international organizations, foreign trade union centers.
Members of parliament, representatives of judicial and law enforcement bodies, ministries and departments, scientific institutions and civil society institutions of Uzbekistan, representatives of national and foreign media will also take part in the work of the forum.
The main goal of the conference is to reveal the role, essence and significance of the Strategy of Action for the five priority development directions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, which marked a qualitatively new approach to the system of strategic planning of the prospects for state and social development of the country, society, presentation of Uzbekistan’s experience in the sphere of strong social policy aimed at ensuring the interests and strong social protection of citizens, studying the experience of developed democratic countries in this field.
The strategy of action is a unique example of the political thinking of the head of state and people in strengthening independence, ensuring a peaceful and prosperous life, creating a firm guarantee of protecting the rights, freedoms and interests of citizens, building a legal democratic state based on market relations and private property, the formation of a strong civil society, finding Uzbekistan a worthy place in the international arena, as well as a strong social policy conducted in the country.
The plenary meeting of the International Conference will be held in the “Amir Temur” conference hall of the “International Hotel Tashkent” hotel, panel discussions will be organized in the conference rooms of the hotel “International Hotel Tashkent” and the International Business Center of AK “Xalqaro Hamkorlik Markazi”.
Within the framework of the conference, in order to familiarize foreign experts with the results of the work carried out on the basis of the Strategy of Action, trips are planned for social facilities, organizations and institutions, as well as historical cities of the country.
