IV International festival of polyphonic national instrumental ensembles and orchestras “Navruz sadolari” (Melodies of Navruz) that is being held in Tashkent by “Soglom avlod uchun” International Charitable Fund jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a number of other partner organizations, has become a real art celebration for students.
Young musicians from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Mongolia are taking part at the festival, which is held at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.
– The festival is taking place in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere, – says young musician from Kyrgyzstan Aliman Sartbayeva. – Tashkent is a green and clean city, and at night, it becomes even more beautiful in the light of various lanterns. I am convinced that Uzbek and Kyrgyz musical instruments are almost the same. At the festival, we performed “Zavkim kelur” musical work by Uzbek composer Mukhammadjon Mirzayev. I am very glad that music fans liked our performance.
Performances of polyphonic ensembles and orchestras, master classes in conducting and playing musical instruments, organ music concert were held on the next day of the festival.
