Representatives of “Google” company visited Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), where they discussed issues of establishing cooperation with representatives of the University in the sphere of training IT specialists through organization of joint programs and supporting startups.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of training specialists in the sphere of information technologies and involving girls in IT sector, as well as prospects for supporting startups from Uzbekistan through various specialized events, such as “Google I/O”, “Women Techmakers”, “DevFest” and “Google Launchpad Accelerator”.
Within the framework of the negotiations, representatives of «Google” company told about their plans on developing cooperation with developers from Uzbekistan. Recently, “GDG Tashkent” group was created in Uzbekistan, which will held various activities on promotion of IT education and Google solutions in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, possible areas of cooperation between Google and Inha University in Tashkent were discussed.
