Round table on “National dramaturgy: problems and solutions” was held in Tashkent.
Minister of Culture B.Sayfullayev, Chairman of the Drama Council at the Writers’ Union Sh.Rizayev and others noted that in the process of reforms on development of culture and art held in the country, special attention is paid to development of national dramaturgy at the level of the requirements of time.
During the trips to the regions, the Head of the state pays special attention to acquaintance with the activity of theaters, reconstruction of their buildings, strengthening the material and technical base, provision of modern stage and technical equipment. At present time, systematic work is carried out on material and moral support, encouragement of creative workers, playwrights and directors, stage artists and artists who are making a great contribution to upbringing young people, creating highly artistic scenic works that inspire people to work selflessly for the development of the Motherland.
However, at present, when all conditions and opportunities for free creativity of writers and theatrical figures are created, the repertoire of many theaters often does not meet the requirements. This is directly related to the lack of interaction between playwrights and directors. For creating a new performance, it is necessary to widely use the potential of writers with a sharp pen, listen to the opinion of the theater staff, scientists and writers in preparation of a new stage work, and widely involve graduates of higher educational institutions in the theater.
