Spiritual-enlightenment event, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the First President of Uzbekistan, the great state and political figure Islam Karimov’s birth was held at the Institute of Fire Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The event was organized pursuant to the resolution of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On celebration of the 80th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, outsanding statesman and politician Islam Karimov’s birth” of November 27, 2017.
Head of the Institute A.Kuldashev and others noted that Islam Karimov left an indelible mark in the history of our country with his multifaceted state activities and noble human qualities.
At the event it was emphasized that the First President of our country was a great person and statesman, who gained respect and high authority not only in Uzbekistan but all over the world. Islam Karimov managed to transform Uzbekistan into a modern democratic state, developing with dynamic pace in a historically short period of time.
Participants shared their memories about Islam Karimov. Poems dedicated to the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan were read out.
