State Committee of Uzbekistan on Privatization, De-monopolization and Competition Development reports on summarizing the results of work for 9 months of 2014. During the reporting period, the Committee received 3,192 complaints from consumers, including 2065 in writing, and 1127 by helpline.
According to the results of studies, from the total number of written complaints 90.3% have been resolved in favor of consumers, more than 767.4 million soums (for 9 months of 2013. – 629 300 000 soums) recalculated for not rendered and sub-quality services in favor of consumers.
Of the total number of complaints by phone calls 55.5% have been taken appropriate measures and recalculated in the amount of 76.8 million soums (for 9 months of 2013. – 111 600 000. soum), and 44.5% of calls were given clarifications within the competence of the Committee.
