Tashkent city chief employment office together with the command of the Tashkent military district and the Military Prosecutor’s Office organized a specialized job fair for family members of servicemen of military units and institutions located on the territory of Tashkent garrison at the Youth Creativity Palace on June 28.
198 enterprises, organizations and commercial banks took part in the event, which provided 3,315 vacancies.
In order to carry out a job fair at a high level, organizations and enterprises provided samples of their goods to participants, and employees of commercial banks provided practical advice on allocation of soft loans, rules and procedures in this area to start business.
As a result, the job fair was attended by 362 citizens. 319 participants applied to organizations and enterprises, including 202 citizens received consultations. Centers for employment promotion gave directions for employment to 117 participants in the job fair.
Moreover, during the job fair, citizens were given explanations and consultations by specialists on labor legislation, labor protection and other issues.
The organizers noted at the fair that ensuring employment and raising the incomes of the population is an important factor in sustainable development of the economy and are priority areas of the social policy of our state.
