The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Prime Minister Ulughbek Rozukulov will take part in the 74th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will be conducted in Moscow on June 23, 2017.
The participants of the meeting plan to discuss topical issues of interaction of the CIS countries in the economic sphere.
Note that at present the Commonwealth unites 11 equal independent states. It is aimed at developing multilateral cooperation in many spheres of the life of the state and society.
Priority areas of Uzbekistan’s cooperation within the organization are issues of advancement of trade and economic relations, transport communications, combating transnational threats and security challenges.
