TECHNOLOGIES

The Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange has completed a procedure of redesigning the corporate website and launched an updated and pilot version of its information portal

The portal was updated mainly to facilitate access to the exchange information, enhance transparency of electronic trading and improve quality of services that are provided under the national program the Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests, reported the UZEX press service.

The new design of the portal is built on usability, corporate style, new functions and the latest trends in e-commerce. The new tools have optimally simplified visualization of the most popular resources and key indicators of UZEX. The portal now presents new information banners, an interactive price chart, a histogram on trading platforms, and an interactive map of UZEX territorial branches. The main page provides links to trade sections and interactive services, a graphical analysis of prices, stock news and latest updates.

It is worth to give a separate notion to the UZEX index service, which has changed due to a new calculation method. The updated version of the portal provides six UZEX indices that reflect the price situation for individual product segments. These include segments of the fuel industry, ferrous metallurgy, non-ferrous metallurgy, chemical and petrochemical industry, construction materials and industrial processing. This function allows tracking changes in the conjuncture of certain segments of the UZEX commodity market.

The information for shareholders and investors has been moved to the new section of the Corporate Governance portal. Photo gallery, video stuff, feedback system, personal account, FAQ, public opinion poll, useful links and search functionality have been optimized.

Updates in UZEX Internet resources are seen as an important stage in the company’s leadership positioning strategy in the field of e-commerce. All changes in the portal are called to provide additional convenience for users and expand its target audience.
