A press conference was conducted at the National Press Center of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan has hosted.
The opinions of the Academy’s top managers and teachers about the best foreign experience in training managers and boosting their intellectual potential, as well as the state of affairs in this direction in our country were heard. There was talked about the essence and significance of the tasks outlined in the Strategy for Actions of the development of the Republic of Uzbekistan along five priority areas in 2017-2021, on reforming the public administration system, advancing the organizational and legal basis for the civil service, bettering the “e-government” system, enhancing the quality and efficiency of the state services.

The Andijan State University has hosted a republican scientific and practical conference devoted to the study of foreign languages and the topical issues of modern linguistics.
Participants exchanged views on achievements and shortcomings in the continuous learning of foreign languages at all stages of education, the introduction of advanced methods with the use of modern pedagogical and information and communication technologies, the evolvement of international cooperation, the training of qualified specialists.
Within the framework of the conference, the winners of the contest for the best essay, article, and video in a foreign language among students were awarded. Performances in Russian, English, German and French were shown by the students of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Andijan State University.

Training sessions started on improving the skills of local police inspectors for prevention at the Samarkand State University.
Over 120 local police officers for prevention working in the cities of Samarkand, Bulungur, Kattakurgn, Narpay and Jambai districts gathered in the first training group. Teachers of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of the relevant services of the regional police departments explained the issues of effective organization of preventive measures, working with the population, establishing cooperation with citizens gatherings of mahallas and other organizations with a view to preventing offences and crime to the listeners.
